Who won? @Slingrazor? Or someone who spent a lot with vendors such as SSO...?
@Slingrazor could win without even showing up! Amiright????

There was one that was Lime Squeeze that has a hell of a nice set up. I think he was out of Texas. The wheels he added at the show really set it apart from the rest of the crowd...the fact he had a metric shit ton of lights and what night, definitely let it stand out even more compared to the pack. I actually think I had a good shot of winning if I was there.
2nd and 3rd place. Popular vote was used to pick the winner. They had a lot of friends and our two split the remaining votes.
All in all, happy with the outcome.
Colorado turned out to be a great event. Kind of had the feel of a smaller Eureka Springs.
Scott is handling the awards in a fair way. He uses 3 to 4 judges who score on a set criteria that reduces it down to 3 to 5 slings. Then he let's those attending the event select the placement of the winner.

Bah hum bug...
Yes, I'm a bit sour about Texas... A SSO Sling won (with many friends), even though their was a red one out of Dallas that was very over the top!
@Br4hm4... Was that lime squeeze out of Texas belong to @Coach?
Not sure if it was @Coach...if it was...it's come a long ways from the profile picture.
I do notice that it's more a popularity contest than a judged show. Guess it means...get a lot of goodies and don't be an asshole? lol
I could tell you a few things about show judging, I did old cars and shows for years but never cared about getting any trophies, I just enjoyed meeting the people.
the only reason they picked those winners is because my SS is not ready yet

Well, guess I won't be entering any shows, then....lol
