I'm removing mine to have it upholstered and it would be nice to watch the process first to be sure of where all the connectors/fasteners are.
Anyone know of a how-to video that shows the removal of the Slingshot dash top? Seems like I've seen one, but can't recall where.

Dash Removal
Thank you KayTwo, that'll get me started. I'll have to figure out where the 8 T40 torx screws are that are mentioned in step "I", and I was thinking that I'll also have to remove the starter switch and the 4 rocker switches that I have there because I think that faceplate is a part of the dash. But I think I'll be able to get it out without too much trouble after seeing this. Also thanks to WraithSS for the write-up.

You don't have to remove the starter switch, just disconnect wires. The 2 rocker switches either side of the starter switch should be removed to get access to the 2 push pins.

Ahhhh... that makes sense. I see how it would only need to be disconnected from the wiring. But when I think about it, I'll probably remove it and my switches anyway just because I have to hand over the dash to the upholstery shop for a couple of days. I figure that if I take them out there's less chance that they could be accidentally damaged as the shop works on the dash. Safer to give them just a piece of plastic. Now that I think of it, it may be a good idea to cover the faceplate with painter's tape too - less likely to get scratched up that way.

I would pull the starter switch after the dash is removed. If the tabs hang up you can dislodge the silver face plate.

This is a good plan as the face plate scratches very easy.

Dash top is out and just waiting to be upholstered on Monday. I'll be covering both sides with UV resistant faux leather with orange stitching. Dash removal is actually pretty simple. Much easier than I expected.

This one already has it installed from the factory. I think Polaris started doing that in 2017, or maybe 2016.5.

HF's cheap hook set - 4 Piece Pick and Hook Set, or any similar set allows you to pull the push pins w/o removing the switches.

For some reason I never thought to use those even though I have a set. I usually grab a small screw driver.
What I have used before that I didn't know HF has is this upolestry push pin removal tool. I will be buying one of these next trip there.
