Would this amp work? It's small 6 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 3 7/8"
Amazon.com: Alpine MRV-F300 4-Channel Car Amplifier, 50 Watts RMS x 4: Car Electronics
better amp for about the same price.
Anyways but yes that amp will drive all 4 speakers if you want and it has speaker level inputs.

Thank you, now it's just a matter of how the heck do I hook this stuff up with the stock radio. Might be in over my head here but thanks anyways.
Slingshot only has this amp. Just not sure how to hook up.
You would need something like this
Line Out Converter for Adding an Amplifier to a Factory Radio
You would then cut the wires going to your speakers (Speaker outputs) taking note of polarity and use them as the inputs to the Line Output Adapter. You then use RCAs to go from the output of the Line Level Adapter to the input of the Amplifier. You would then route speaker wire from the output of the amplifier back to the speaker input.
We did this for @jaytee and jumpered from the fronts to the rears on the left and right sides to give him 4 speaker outputs to the Amp. I worked out pretty well.
One thing I will say from my experience with building audio systems though, if I try to go cheap, I usually end up paying more in the long run because I'm never happy with the end product of cheap audio equipment or low wattage Amps.
As a quick drawing...

What the heck are these things?.....
and how the heck do you know what polarity is? I'm in over my head,... about to say I'm done, but thanks.
They convert signals meant for speakers to usable signals for amplifiers.
If you get the polarity backwards, your speaker will be 180° out of phase. Basically the speaker will try to pull air instead of pushing it and you'll hear the voice of satan.
According to my service manual:
Right + is Gray with Red Stripe
Right - is Gray with White Stripe
Left + is Brown with Red Stripe
Left - is Brown with Black Stripe
You can do this! It's not too bad once you get into it!!

OK, but what about the speakers up front that are stock? If I cut the wire, how do I hook them up. Sorry for the dumb question.

No dumb questions Brother, we are all here to learn from each other and help each other out.
You would have to run speaker wires from the amp back to the stock speakers. Instead of your stock head unit feeding any of your speakers, your stock head unit will feed the line level converter, which feeds the amp, which feeds the speakers. What you can do is jumper the front inputs to the rear inputs as well... let me see if I can draw up another picture...

Holly crap, you got me thinking I might be able to do this. Don't know what a jumper is but OK.
Sorry guys
I've totally destroyed this thread....
maybe it should be renamed Shatneyman's knows nothing about audio
For jumpers, you will just use short pieces of wire to connect A1 to A5, A2 to A6 and so on... You are doing this so the converter gets an input on the rears and you will have rear outputs to go to the amp.
Does this help??

Sorry bud,.....but no. I think I got it, but don't want to send any nukes to anyone. Don't waste your time, I'm done. No side and rear speakers for me. Thank you though, means a lot me that you tried.
Here is info on the Clarion amp referenced earlier - Clarion U.S.A | XC2410. Clarion says it can handle 4 speakers, 2 speakers and a sub or just 2 speakers, but the manual isn't very clear on doing that.
I have the same unit. Just haven't gotten around to installing it.
@Shatneyman, you can do it! @TheRock is the man! Remember, he's a Cowboys fan
Audio and wires, I like...

No worries, I'm here if you need me! If you need to phone a friend, I'll still be here!

I have this amp and the front and side seat SSV with kickers☺️...
Shat if you have @TheRock you don't have any worries!
the Clarion has speaker level inputs so he wouldn't need any line converters.
He should only need those if he chooses an amp without speaker level inputs.
I have heard of people using line converters to clean shitty radio signals but in my opinion if you have that type of problem changing the radio is the right and only solution, anything else would be a duct tape fix.
