Think somebody was watching out for y’all. Again glad you made it home safe.

On September 9, after 6 years of ownership, the Grasshopper is finally going to take us from the California border, all the way up Highway 101 on the Oregon coast, across the Columbia River into Washington, over the following long weekend! It has been a long time coming!

The roaming slingshot has been spotted again. Anybody recognize this spot ???
I’ll bet it’s by a lighthouse. Did I win

You're always a winner ! If you knew which lighthouse you'd be an even bigger winner!
There is a way to ID a Lighthouse but darn if I remember how and the book to use.
So here is what I found. You will have to go back there after dark.
Every lighthouse emits a distinctive series of flashes known as its “characteristic.” These flash sequences allow ship captains to time intervals between flashes so that they can identify lighthouses, using a publication called the Light List. This publication assigns a number to each lighted beacon and describes its identifying characteristics.
Or here is how to find it if you know the state. https://us-lighthouses.com/all.php
Ok somebody has gotta recognize the iconic paint job on this lighthouse
That looks like a barber pole to a color-blind person

I'm glad your since of humor wasn't affected!
I have fished there many times. It was my favorite place in the world before I moved to Florida. I lost that love when they started building high rises on every piece of beach available. Was at a dinner one time and said those building ruined the place. Well there was around 25 people at the table and wouldn't you know the guy paying for it looked me right in the eye and said. "I built most of those and own many of they. Well I shut up as he was my friend's friend and I didn't know him. They all were on their boats headed to the islands for the winter.

that just reminded me of a joke,... watched 2 blind men fighting the other day,.. should have seen the look on their faces when I said " I bet the one with the knife wins"
Spent my weekend riding with a few Friends in southeastern Ohio
Can report that 13 slings rolling through a one stop light town still causes a stir.
Great time !!!
