Slingshots in the Smokies 2016 is over. Most of us are back home, except for @Nemesis1701, who won't say die. We are unpacking, preparing for the real world, checking the damages of our foray into the world of fun. And soon delving down into all the photos, videos, memories, and new friendships.
Now we need a place to share that in our leisure time with all. Let that begin here and have the event thread as the time of prep, activity, tips, and good-byes be what it is.
Believe me when I say " I'm enjoying every moment with my blood family here in Blue Ridge but it's missing all my SS family during the SSIS that hurts the most". You guys and gals had a great time as evident by the pics and comments. Not the same riding solo. I'd rather have another SS racing me thru these hills. Hopefully next time!
I may not have a turbo but I always ride it like I stole it.

We crossed paths today at Bald River Falls we both where going to fast to stop!

Nothing wrong with riding solo. Allows one to clear the cobwebs, re-evaluate, and prioritize life ahead. A time of reflection.
The difference...
Solo, you can see the sunset and lake from the seat of the Slingshot and all is good.
Shared, you want to walk down to the lake, see the waves break on the rocks, and feel the sunset.
Either serves a purpose for all of us.
Your trip will be memorable and we hope you enjoy it for what it is.
I have a video of @SLINGSHOOTER and a Mrs. @FunCycle having fun, and cuttin a rug at the Rendezvous Restuarant, thats never been added to the forum.... with each persons permission, I'd like to post that here...
Steve and I don't dance, so I greatly enjoyed seeing them lettin loose on a makeshift dance floor... wish I had the nerves to get up in front of a large group like that and have uninhibited FUN.... think I'll just keep recording others

Dancing use to be our thing on the weekends until I messed my knee up on the dance floor. Dancing on that concrete was a good way to hurt it again. The answer is no.

Welcome to the rocky woods. Just so you know, you are a guest in their home. Just cause someone put a house there doesn't change the living arrangement.
A regular guest for us.... every time it rains they usually come in pairs.
My cat THINKS he likes to play with these... its the only insect that gets him excited. I have to pull him back to keep him from getting stung.
