Kev is right the harness adapter is worth it. I had a harness that came with a kit but it did not have the back up camera integration. The kit with everything is around $30 and is well worth it. The tranny wire is straight down to the right of the tranny. It isn't easy to reach and there are clips holding it on you need to unfasten.

Tranny?

FYI....Some aftermarket radios have the option in the camera settings to chose which polarity you are using to trip the screen on.

I think Pioneer does. My Kenwood did not have that option.

Another thing to note. Please do not use the type of taps in Cmans pictures on a Slingshot for two reasons.
1- They are not waterproof, they are not even water resistant.
2- The Slingshots vibrate, a lot, and this type of tap is prone to bad connections over time due to vibration.
Best bet is to solder and shrink wrap.

Thoughts on these kind of Solder/Shrink wraps? I used them and they seem pretty decent. Push the bare wire in from both ends, crush the middle band with pliers and then heat gun. Supposed to melt the solder and shrink wrap in one.

Those work pretty well, but don't let them get anywhere near a heat source. The melting point for the solder is pretty low. But, when cold the pull strength on those is great!
