It will take all 12" of speaker.
12" of thump in the trunk

It is actually flat around the speaker. Thanks to a lot of heat. I'll have more pics shortly

Thread title took my warped mind straight to the gutter (but I behaved)...
Looks great Rab!!!

Dam _ thought it was a new NSFW thread

I had to add some extra screws around the door. It will now make you sick feeling when it's hammering out bass.
-
What kind of amp you got running that Rab?
-
I have a JL 300 mono on them at the moment.... But now I think Im going to move a JL 1000 that I have in my toolbox drawer to do the job. I think the 300 may get a little hot driving those 12" subs. The 1000 wouldn't ever be under a strain.
Dont get me wrong the 300 is hammering them so hard it makes your vision blurry but I just think it would be better to use the larger amp so that it would never be under a strain. I would say that If I didn't have the 1000 I wouldn't go buy one but why not use it since its collecting dust.....

Looks great Rabtech and probably sounds ridiculous. At MV you will literally be blowing minds in sure.
-
Its not that much louder with audible sound. It just shakes everything a bit harder. I noticed that it took less volume to shake the steering wheel and mirrors. And now my temporary paper license plate shakes pretty good.
-
One thing I have noted is that it seems to piss off my family more when I am in the shop with it playing. They say bass is non directional. But I swear it always goes in the direction toward where my family is trying to watch tv.
-
That sounds like it THUMPS pretty good Rab. In last pics your garage is not close to the house. Very cool.
-
I am swapping the JL 300 for this JL 1400 watt. That should move the 12" subs a bit easier.
-
I added the 10 to mine and let the battery die...ugh. Tried a set of jumper cables I had and they are toast...so I am going to push start mine today.

Remember you need a little battery to run the fuel pump. You may also want to add the battery jump points to yours. -

Damn I think mine is completely drained. Guess I'll just have to add the jumpers and get new cables.

Got mine up and running with out an issue with the help of a jump box. Oddly though I think in the process I shorted out the remote wire so now nothing is powering up. And this is why I got out of the install game. lol

hello rabtech, what kind of jack are you using to lift your slingshot.
