Did we loose another SlingShot dealer, I was just looking at the closest dealers and I see that Mt. Hood Polaris is no longer listed?

That's my dealer! I'll call them shortly and find out.
Well hell. Looks like it's true. Mt Hood Polaris isnow waiting for their inventory to be picked up (and no clearance sale dammit!).
I asked who made the decision, and was told it was a mutual agreement.
Makes it tuff when you don't have enough Slingshot owners in the area to support a good dealer. We just lost the closest one, he just decided 'time to retire'.

@BryanL I took my Sling into Polaris of Portland Thursday for some warranty work. I can assure you that they have an excellent service dept and Slingshot tech, Cody. I'm surprised Mt Hood didn't keep it going but it is a niche market.
Thanks Doug. I'll be going there from now on. I liked the roads to Mt Hood though. They were much more fun than the city streets to Portland.
Yeah downtown Portland sucks but I drive by the Vancouver dealer about 4 miles from my house to go there. If you end up there drop my name and they'll charge you double! Your welcome.
OK, it appears that we have lost yet another SlingShot dealer in the Pacific Northwest where I no longer see PRO CALIBER MOTORSPORTS in Vancouver Washington listed?
Bill
They had Slingshots 2 months ago. I'll swing by on my way home from band practice this afternoon and take a look. I noticed they weren't listed also and thought maybe that was just for service but that they still sell them.
They show three 2019s in inventory and five 2018s? I would think these would be tough sales if they no longer were going to service them?
Oh, and a whole herd of Rykers..............................
Bill
I do hope that you will still have a dealer in your area. We lost one in Northern Indiana --- but he closed the whole business. Retired....
If indeed Pro Caliber has quit selling/servicing the SlingShot, that would be the third dealership in as many years in our area, and I say "our area" quite loosely, for they are 260 miles from us. So far we still have two dealers remaining in the state that are a wee bit closer at 230 and 210 miles.

wjfyfe I confirmed that ProCaliber in Vancouver is no longer a Slingshot dealer. The service writer told me that as a non-Slingshot dealer they can do 'oil changes and that's about it.' When I asked him if they would sell off the remaining inventory he said, 'uh, yeah'. Based on BryanL 's post above, I wouldn't be surprised if they load them up and send them elsewhere. Like you said, it's got to be a tough sell.
We just lost Spirit Motorcycles in San Jose. Polaris recently abruptly closed its dealership there. Now there's just one in the greater Bay Area, in Livermore. 32 vs. 28 miles away, no fun in bad traff*ck.

Funny enough, I ended up purchasing their last, new 2018 Slingshot before the new year...right before finding out that they'd no longer be selling Slingshots.
welcome aboard callmebluebandit - looking forward to photos of your ride and adventures
Sucks to hear about Spirit in SJ. I purchased my base there in 2016. The whole staff and owners were awesome. Best dealer experience ever.

Darn it, I was hoping that I was wrong!
