I was adamant against the wings. I thought they looked god awful. Then seeing them in person I thought they looked pretty darn sharp! It might even give you some stability, but I doubt you'll feel it. That bolt on wing from Alpha would be a quick and easy install.

This is an old picture, it is the wing from Bert's not Alpha - I believe the wing is the same mounting is different
I actually ordered it and am waiting for it to be sent. It's prob taking longer then usual because @Turbosling is making it in a way to make it so aerodynamic that I think I am in one of his V8 monster.

Bert's Mega Mall - I think it was $500 maybe $600 Carbon Fiber - tuff son of a gun I have bumped it and scraped it a few times. I have 7K and it has been on from day 1

I want the Alpha Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler but was wondering if it'll fit on the super fast TURBO SILVER 2017 SLR??

Also, @slingmods is out of stock... Sooooooo, if a 2016.5 can fit my sling, any suggestions as where I can procure one of these before MV?
One more question: Can anyone comment on the differences in down-force between the 56" and 62" (not sure I want to go off looks alone for this) ~> but if there's not a noticeable difference between the two... I think the smaller wing will look more uniform on my sling (if all I was looking for, was looks)...
Hmmm... Any particular reason why??? For looks or function or both?
May want to give this kid some time as others may be developing something eventually...

While true, I do think they look great on the sling ~> has that race aggression appeal. But I am actually more interested in performance overall...

It may not fit your roll hoops if they are the newer design - would have to check with Alpha
You can also check Berts Mega Mall - that is the wing I am running it mounts to the frame not the roll hoops, may require a visit for wrench day?

Ummm, don't plan on any downforce being generated with either wing at the speeds the slingshot operates. Oh, wind tunnel testing may show a slight increase at speeds over 100 mph, but really? How many times and for how long are you planning on going 100 to 130 mph in a slingshot, and how much extra downforce are you looking for? If you like the look, by all means add one to your s/s, but IMHO, don't expect to be able to feel any improvements at any speeds

Thanks for the input! I felt that with a higher wing tilt/angle, push-down pressure may not need to be in the 100-130 range? More like 80-100 was my hope because of a plush(er) suspension dampening, assisted by higher torque. Now, I do ride in the 100-120 ranges quite often and for extended periods of time ~> was just thinking that with 330hp about to be put under my hood, I could drop some lift and pick-up more traction...??
