Although not in the book, I believe that is a clutch sensor code...
it was the clutch sensor. It was replaced today. Engine warning went away.
Drove a hundred miles. Probably made 3 stops in that period.
Went to go start it, and now it won't start. All lights on.

Okay. That particular code is one of the unique ones not in the service manual. However, an SPN of 598 is a clutch switch code. These often go away by themselves - if not, may need adjustment. If you can start your Slingshot you’re okay (the clutch switch needs to see clutch pedal pushed in to give you a start engine permissive signal).
