looks like were in for a bit of a cold snap

If this happens, we'll be over 65 days over 100 degrees. And the 2nd most all time.
And the only way we break the 100 degree streak is to have thunderstorms!

its coming!

its coming!
My suggestion is NO riding for few days, might even make you put on a coat. Ha ha
Y’all be safe hope it’s going to be maybe just a water maker.

meh - I'm going to ride tomorrow morning - even if it means I get a little wet, majority of this thing isn't supposed to really hit here until late Saturday and Sunday so I should be good
-
Jeez, Palm Springs is cooler than Texas. We set a record for the date with 110 yesterday. We're at 60 days over 100 degress with 40+ IN A ROW!.

Really can’t say I like it, but living in Laredo for 29 years, I know thee feeling.

well - - I managed to get my morning ride in before this stupid hurricane could get me. wasn't a long ride, just to my wife farmers market and then the back roads home, but with all of the humidity I'm happy to be back in the AC

Went for a short ride this evening --- 75 --- just had to watch for the moma deers and their young ones.

supposed to be nice and clear today - - the tropical storm has passed and other than some road closures they are still cleaning up and some flooded areas we seem to have made it through Hillary pretty well

for those of you in areas of the country where storms like this are common this probably looks like nothing, but here in the desert this is a huge amount of rain, out infrustructure is designed to deal with about 4 inches of rain spread out over the entire year, getting like this in one 24 hour period is way more than our drains and roads are designed to handle - - so please dont laugh to hard
-
Glad you made it through safe.
-
well we got the rain from this storm out of here, now we just need to get rid of the humidity - we are normally below 10% this time of year and right now its at 69% - - sucks!
-
only in the 70's right now, but looks like we will get back to normal pretty quickly
-
As it heats up, that humidity will disappear. You'll be back to 10% in no time.
Now, here in Texas, it's 100+ degrees AND 50%+ humidity... (sigh)
