The rear end came assembled and whoever put it together must have went to the polaris factory for training or worked for polaris. you can see at the 1h 16min mark it quit and had to re-torque the axle nuts. Now all i have to do is catch up with Chad Warren & Turbosling on there mods.

Stripped a gear in the drive. My grand daughter has stripped 3 on her Hello Kitty jeep.

Just re-torque the axle nuts to 250 ft lbs, and change out the rear drive oil to Redline Shockproof Heavy!!!
Oh, and it might help to put a grease zirk in the rear drive to help those bearings??No worries my friends, the answers to all these issues are right here on this forum!!!!!

added rear taillights and license palte lighting, added second fuse box. working on phone mout for gps and stereo.

Are you running second battery. Like the taillights. I put 14 inch bike tire tread on rear tires today. Makes the rear tires grip so much better. Just bought 2 replacement tires cut side walks off and slid over onto crown of tire.

I bought 2 bell 14 inch replacement tires from walmart in the sporting good section. The tire is 15 inches give or take. So they are a nice snug fit. I may throw a little glue under each side but they are a good snug fit.

I'm kinda thinking it was a pricing glitch. They have a Polaris ATV, from a different toy maker, that's quite a bit smaller than the Slingshot, and it was $199. Perhaps an "Associate" just saw Polaris, and mismarked the Sling. Then someone quickly noticed the uptick in Slingshot sales, and pulled it before they took too big of a hit on pricing???
Mine is due for delivery on the 25th!!! My wife is super excited about it!!
