@DKF Texas. Maybe you should just describe the video in a sexy Texas style description with lots of @Tripod type sexual innuendo. LOL
-
yes video is working now.. sounds like a bad bearing.
-
LOL I didn't have the sound on .... thought you were asking about the chip
-
Sounds familiar to me as the bad bearing. The worst one I had quit clicking and started doing that. But there's always a chance of a warped rotor that could do it. Either way, looks like a visit to the dealer. Let's see, isn't that a trip to Wisconsin?

Maybe so!!! I got my first bearing changed in Maggie Valley...

The chip happened when I was taking my seat out...I got 11 stitches but the chip hurt worse!!!
I had s stereo guy put my amp under my seat...it wouldn't slide properly after that...the reason you might ask...he had wrapped some of the cabling around the base...long story short, I got the seat out and finished cleaning the cables/wires up when I got back from getting stitches... -
Ouch, You have to be more careful young lady. Thanks for letting me know what a bad bearing sounds like.

Sounds rotational for sure. On the off chance it isn't the bearing, I had an issue with a weld splatter right below the front angle drive pulley. As the belt came around, it is "thrown" down a bit and rubbed on that weld splatter, causing a noise similar to yours. Surprising how little space there is there.
As I would speed up, it would increase as well. Drove the mechanic nuts because he could hear it too, but hear nothing when it was lifted and spun again. Only happened when it was under power.
Filed that down, and all was good.

I had a similar noise but was able to quickly rule out brakes or bearing problems by applying a bit of bees wax along both sides of my drive belt. Took the unit out for a drive and no noise whatsoever. Knock on wood, it has been quiet for a few months now.

if you're still wondering about VIMEO, it's a professional website for posting pro-style video files. Like Youtube, but better, and costs a bit for some of the bells and whistles that Youtube lacks. I use it for most of my stuff, although I also use Youtube. Here is a SS video I did last spring at SPRINGSLING in irvine, Ca. I have done a couple of others, as well. I am a retired professor (prison documentaries mostly) and have found it great fun to OVERuse my GoPro to shoot road files!
