Anyone ever have the two of these together? I'm wondering if the heat through the hood vent would slip under the adjustable windshield and heat the cockpit up again. (Which I would like to avoid)

Welcome Josh McKenzie . I don't think so as I've seen several Slingshots with both, but haven't asked that question. However, I'm at the Slingshot homecoming rally at the Polaris plant that builds them in Huntsville, AL right now and I'll look around tomorrow to find one or more and get some opinions for you. Josh McKenzie I found a few Slings with the Madstad windshield and a hood vent. Everyone I talked to said that the wind flow carries any heat over, not under the windshield. There were several different types of vents. Here's some pics.

Wow, you really delivered!! Thanks for the information, that is exactly what I was looking for.
And the Slingshot in picture #2 is ridden in the rain with no problem. Even with a lot of open space on the hood.

Love my setup as well, and have had zero issues with heat.
