I just came across a dealer in Canada that is actually closer than any in the US, can I take our US SlingShot to Canada for service?
Bill
I'm sending some parts to Switerland to a young man who bought a Canadian Slingshot. My dealer could not look up the Canadian VIN ... only US VIN's We are hoping we pick out the parts he needs to put USA headlights on the Canadian Slingshot. It's been fun putting this all together. Parts were $70.00 and the USPS shipping was $50.36 --- also sent him a Matchbox (fast Red) Slingshot.
I have taken my Canadian registered sling for service and recalls in the US and they had no issues looking up the VIN and doing the work so I cant see why they cant do the opposite

Interesting --- I gave the guys a Neilsen's the Canadian VIN (Slingshot is now in Switherland) and they told me they could not access info on those numbers.

not sure EjFord , I have taken mine to Ball Equipment in Michigan a few times for recalls and service and no issues at all. They were able to pull all the info up. I called Polaris before hand and they told me that Polaris will honor the warranty nation wide so that was good for me as the Michigan dealer is 1 hr away and at the time the closest Canadian dealer was 3 and I wouldnt give them the time of day or allow them to touch my sling.
