Does it fit without modification?
Trip to DDM.

Does it fit without modification?

Does it fit without modification?
Yes. But it won't work with any of the current systems that are out on the market. Just letting you know so no one runs out and pops one in. You would only need one anyway if you were going to push more than 15.5 or 16 psi.Looks like I'm headed to 18 or 19 psi.. Or wherever the Haltech, new injectors, and turbo parts feel the most comfortable.
-
They probably make ab2 bar though, right?
-
You have a 2 bar now if you have a turbo system. At least if you have a Hahn or an Alpha system. Some of the first Alpha systems and some of the early Hahn systems relied on fuel injectors but most of those have been converted by now.
-
Just for future reference is all
-
There is even a 2.5 bar map sensor that can be adapted for use but I'm not into hacking anything. It's actually a MAP and a IAT sensor all in one. But it's just not worth the time to have to rewire to use it. So I just went with the 3bar.

Got more goodies from Jamie Roy today.

-
It's like Christmas in February!
-
More headed this way tomorrow. Just tracked the turbo parts and the other goodies and all is going for a Friday delivery.
I wish I had a SS owner that lived closer to me. I would give them several rolls of LED lights and even a LED controller for some help. My low back is on fire. I have lost 5 pounds in the last 2 weeks but it's a slow go. And the more boxes that stack up the more I want to be in the garage installing it.
I can't believe there is nobody in Alabama that lives close to me. Well actually I can believe it. I do live in the sticks.

I would be happy to come down and learn some things but it is just a little too cold for a trip that far right now. Maybe in a few weeks.

I would come and help you but I hate you right now!

The more weight that you lose the easier it will be on your back and your ankles. JUST KEEP SAYING THAT Years ago I was just about to 200 pounds, it took me one year to lose down to 155 and since then I have never been over 165. When the doctor near about killed me with medicine about 4 years ago I was down to 138 which is where I was at the first time at SSITS15

Well guess what I have now!
Obd2 data flowing on my SS. I can now put all my guages on my iPad or iPhone or Android tablet and have every one of them facing me.
I will have pictures soon.
-
And we will soon have a new Vendor on here. Jamie Roy will be representing Haltech and answering any questions you may have. I am waiting on him to email me his logo so I can add him as a vendor.
At this time the only thing that is a quirk is the ESP light staying on. It works perfectly. It's just that the light stays lit all the time. You can use the switch just like your normally would to turn it off and traction control off and then back on. But you can't tell what mode it's because the light is always on... Everytime you crank the SS it is turned on.... So just remember that.
I will be working with Jamie to find a fix for that. And he also said that Haltech was working on it also. So it won't be long till that bug is gone. I just can't explain how awesome it is to have an OBD2 plug. I can stream my throttle position and every other gauge to my Garmin camera and it will embed it right into the video now. -
Ok now you have my attention
You buy me the Haltech set up and I will get a phone to watch everything on
And it will text....... -
I will start a new thread soon and backtrack a bit so that I cover all the parts. Until I do I will keep posting in this thread.
