Canvas Top Maintenance

As a long time Jeep guy, I have tried dozens of different products for canvas tops. Personally, the only product I will ever use again on any canvas is 303 Fabric Guard. I linked it for you.
It's easy to apply, prevents fading, repels dirt and water too.. I can't say enough about how well this stuff works. just don't get it on your paint. it will lrace a haze.
Their Fabric Cleaner is amazing for seats too. Also, their 303 Aerospace Protectant is great for black plastic.
Hope this helps. -
Its the people who make a forum a success!
Thank you! -
other than the obvious differences, it's surprising how many things from the Jeep community translate over to the sling.

Nice! I've owned over 30 Jeep (so far) and have built many more for other people. From Mall Crawlers, to full on Rock Buggies. Unfortunately, since going from the car business to the beer business, I don't have tools and space to do fab work any more. I have tons of ideas and designs for Sling addons, but nowhere to do it. Hopefully we can all meet up soon and discuss things.

Omix-Ada?
BTW, Sorry for Hijacking the thread.

depends....
Not a lot of hard core Jeep guys (long time out there) have good feelings about said company. Let's just say 11 years have resulted a HUGE change in a company. Anything thats distinctively a Rugged Ridge product may or may not have been my designs.. -

Anything thats distinctively a Rugged Ridge product may or may not have been my designs..I have a long history with them. Know lots of the people there. They aren't geared to the hardcore. But I've bought plenty of their parts for weekend wheelers.
I know a bunch of the people over there. -
intersting .... they keep me hidden away..

Someone say Jeeps? Thanks for the info on the 303! On the last ride one of the guys swore by their Aerospace Protectant to keep the black plastic from fading like the Chevy Silverado's do.

@bubba, The Aerospace is great for the plastic and the factory soft top.The fabric guard for the seats.
Good looking Jeep! -

Hope this helps. Is the aerospace protectant advised for the inside of the Sling, like the dash and the seats? Or something simple like ArmorAll?
