Today in the grocery parking lot I was getting ready to mount up, an older (late 50s, early 60s) lady walks up and asked if it comes with an automatic. So we start small talk about the SS.... I said if I didn’t have all those 2 liter pop bottles in the passenger side I’d take you for a ride....
She got excited....I said let’s put the pop in your vehicle and I’ll take you for a ride. So we did..... and we went. She used to ride with her husband.....and the slingshot really caught her eye. We went a mile or two and turned around. She had some trouble getting in and out so I don’t know how much that affected her thoughts on it...she was grateful for the opportunity to at least try it out.....she liked the fact you didn’t need a motorcycle license. I told her it was kinda like riding in a dune buggy....they used to have one..
I’m surprised she went considering I look like something out of mad max...
