There is a distinct sound difference with mandrel bends along with increased flow rate, but overall your exhaust looks amazing now and like you said SO much easier to work on.
Remember how long it took you to separate that mid pipe at Dave's?
Yep, and I had to do it twice more at my house when I was working on it and getting it prepped for the muffler guy, I owe you several beers for the idea of putting v-bands on it!

Flow rate doesn't matter with my dump, otherwise I'd be concerned more.
...have to bring this thread back to life, because my exhaust is getting on my nerve, well really now that i have these new SLR wheels with the 305 rear tire, i would say it's the wheel working my nerve now.........i moved my tail pipe even closer but i know i need a custom rear tail piece to come up along the rear panel and then cross over to my twin WP canisters ......i know others have the WP rear duals canisters with bigger wheels than mine and have this issue even without a exhaust wrap on it, some even have marks on their tires ......so i need a custom exhaust shop myself, think ill ask the guy who does my exhaust work on my cars......
......you can see from this other exhaust from slingmods how it travels up .......for all the work i do on vehicles, welding isnt one of em & i swear i feel like chopping up my rear tail piece TONIGHT.......
I dont like that exhaust wrap. That wrap to me is nothing but a water barrier. I just did custom exhaust on my slingshot for my quad kit and I cerakoted the entire exhaust. good for 1800 degree.

Any pics..........im really leaning towards having a custom rear tail piece done , so that it doesnt run directing behind the rear tire & then either wrap it or coat it.....
That is a real nice set up looking good. I noticed on your kit that the opening near your drive shaft is wider than mine is. So I can not run my exhaust out near my drive shaft. the only opening I have is a U cut out for the drive shaft. I may have to run mine under the kit.

there is no place near me that does that I wish it was that would be the way I go.

If you have the equipment you can do it yourself. Was fun to do and i enjoy doing things myself.
