I recently ordered a rear tire for the SS, a brand/type that I had used on my previous SS and was satisfied with. The date code on the side is 2218 which means 22nd week of 2018. Often tires can lay around for a year or two, or perhaps more, thus I am pleased this one is fresh. Not sure I will need to install it this year or not but couldn't pass up the sales price. I noticed yesterday at the fabulous B&B Rally that Brewers Cycle in Henderson had this brand tire, Lexani, on their special modified SS.
Edited to add: Noticed that sidewall has M&S label which essentially means all weather.
