Does anyone know the actual dimensions of the area under the drive/pass seat? I am considering adding a powered sub, but not sure it'll fit in those locations. The size 9.40"W x 13.90"D x 3.30"H. Thanks in advance.

Tonight, installed SSV side pods with Kicker KM654CW marine speakers (65W RMS), a 4 channel (50W RMS per channel) marine amp (JL Audio MHX280/4) & a 75W RMS powered subwoofer that fits under the driver's seat (Kenwood KSC-SW11). The amp is the size of a brick.
I don't know about that size but smaller one that @Tripod and others have used does. It is 11 x 7.5 x 2.8 inches.

I was thinking about finding some storage items that fit under the seats...with the measurement you provided could the amp be taken in and out without removing the seat?

There is a lip on the floor towards the front of the seat so that precludes pulling it out the front. If you slide the seat all the way forward, the subwoofer can be pulled out from the backside, no problem.

How much room was there to spare with that size amp?

There was some more room but I sure didn’t measure it. Grap a tape measure & have a ball!

Tripod.... how does that powered sub sound? I may not be able to use the one I wanted and that might be what I go with.

It fills in the bottom end nicely but you’re never going to get good strong deep bass out of a unit like this as compared to a larger dedicated & amplified subwoofer. It sounds great when parked & at lower speeds but loses effectiveness as speeds increase... Still happy with it for the price.

That’s what I’m looking for. I don’t need to rattle someone 6 cars back
