Wasn't looking for a "deep-dive". Just agreed that if a good economic base isn't in place everything else will falter. I think that's extremely important especially with this global pandemic.
Also my opinion the stock market is riding high today with the anticipation the senate will remain with a republican majority (house remaining democrat). leaving a balance. More stability.

Agreed, but can you imaging if the democrats control both the house and senate. That's a whole different ball game.

Yep unfortunately I honestly suspect that the democrat leaders have, from the start, planned on replacing him if at all possible and if they cant I suspect he will at best be nothing more than a puppet
One of the reasons why I feel the economy is at such a high risk is because I dont think we are really voting for Joe at all - oen way or the other I feel fairly sure we will end up with Kameltoe - - perhaps the most liberal/socialist Senator currently serving - She is even further to the left than Bernie

A question - - As I am sure many if not all of us have heard a large number of big cities and downtown areas have boarded up storefronts to protect them should there be rioting and looting as a result of today's elections.
So are they afraid that Biden is going to lose or do they think that Trump supporters are going to riot and loot?
knowing the history of who tends to riot and loot it seems to me that all of this boarding up is a huge sign of the lefts lack of confidence in Biden's ability to win this thing - - - I just cant picture Rodeo Drive being looted by conservative Trump supporters

Biden is being used by them or volunteered to be used to become president after his 4th attempt......and when they picked kamalzoo to be VP they lined her up to be the first woman and first women of color to be president....and by doing do locking in a whole lot of minority voters..And just like Obama a piped piper to lead the country hard left...the incoming Higher taxes Will essentially enslave all of us....we will become working poor.....depending on the government to help us out.....

I read about that - it was a bet placed by some guy in the UK and if he wins he will get back 15 million more or less

I just rechecked the status of my mail in vote (NJ). It shows as received 10/7/2020. At this point it still shows a status as received.

I re checked mine as well - it says "accepted" and notes that it will be counted - - It looks as if that is as far as thy will go and will not actually tell me when it has been counted or give me a way to verify that the votes were counted as I marked them - - - - From what I read once the ballot envelope is received and the signature verified they mark it accepted, then the ballot is removed from the envelope for counting and at that point they no longer can identify who's ballot it is - they say this is for our privacy

It appears as though each state handles the process a little bit different. I certainly hope my ballot wasn't sitting somewhere for over three weeks with a glitch and in turn it wasn't posted on the voting tracker offering a chance to rectify. I was careful to follow as instructed. I'm a little ticked at NJ governor for not allowing any in person voting on election day. Then again who am I kidding believing NJ has any hope of winning any electoral votes for the republican party.

National voter ID should be a picture card like a drivers license with a chip like a credit card. You insert your card, cast your vote and verify it and remove your card. Just like credit card companies you get a new card, ID number every election.
