I have heard this before, and I do believe it to be correct.
Edit, I have also read that one of the reasons why we rate as high as we do for gun deaths is due to people taking their own lives with guns - - because of the availability of guns compared to other countries this is a preferred way to kick your own bucket which pushes the numbers higher than other countries

While there have been times that discussions went further than that and attacked those who had a difference of opinion. That was not what this thread's creator had in mind (Bill Martin can chime in to correct me or confirm this).
While the gap between the Liberals and Conservatives is wider now than it has been in anyone of our lifetimes, we can agree to disagree without things getting personal. BOTH sides have intelligent people as well as a few who choose to blindly follow the party they were raised in. I am posting a couple of links to parts of Senate Committee hearings with the focus on the FBI. If these answers or in some case, lack of answers don't scare you, you better check your pulse to see if you are still with us. While the DOJ and FBI is clearly on the Democratic LEFT side of politics, by design and law they HAD always been non-political. Now is not the time to cheer and boast about how Trump "is toast, Trump is going to the big house, we finally got him" because it may only be an election or two away from swinging 100% to the right and soon the left will be crying foul.
All I ask you watch these short videos with an open mind and ask yourself, what are they hiding, who are they protecting and who is calling the shots. If you do that you'll be shacking in your boots being glad that you're not in their sights yet
