I sure hope the schools teach the kids how to think, spell and read BEFORE they complain about how wrong the world is. It's a sad statement that people like this, as dumb as they are, will be running the country in the not too distant future. Maybe it's time to pass a law that requires a minimum competency to run for ANY public office and more importantly, TO VOTE!!

Anyone should be able to run but if you don't understand reality, like the dems do, that the Libertarian party just peels off enough Conservative voters to ensure an almost equally divided country will go and stay in control of a unified left then you really need to take a hard look at history.
Everyone said the Tea Party was a joke until they worked within the system, got nominated, got elected, and could actually do something. Hence the current shift in the Republican party. If Libertarians where serious they could do the same. But it's easier to just complain from the sidelines I guess. Never getting elected means you never have to do the work to back up your rants.
I certainly don't have the answer however screaming that the system is broken then ensuring it will never get fixed and your polar opposites will be in power forever is a strange way to do things but you do you. As I have mentioned in the past, given your locale it really doesn't matter much as the above has already played out anyway.

Provincially (similar to state only), In the 90’s people were fed up and voted NDP in for the province of Ontario. It was a clusterf@&k. Will never happen again. So even though we have multiple parties, we have the big 3, of which 2 will always swap, and one is like a socialist gnat that won’t go away.

There absolutely is a difference between Dem and Rep. Just today - I am on levelized billing for electricity which was $264 per month for electricity. I got a short but sweet text from Duke Energy telling me that it was going up from $264 to $385 per month. We haven’t changed our heating cooling habits except we had a new high efficiency heat pump installed to reduce energy consumption. The only explanation is Biden (Democrats) energy policies. Look out your door - crime skyrocketing, financial upheaval, world unrest - it was not that way under Rep rule. Don’t tell me they are one and the same please!!

yes, any party that gets too much power is likely to become corrupted - - its human nature, but thats down the road a very long way. at this point in time they still have not gotten there - - - personally in a perfect world I would like it if all political parties were abolished and we voted strictly for the person, I would also like it if congress were not allowed to form into groups of any kind and all had to act and vote as individuals - - this whole idea of parties is like prison gangs where individuality is lost out of fear of losing the protection of the gang
but at this point we dont get that, we get partisan for my way of seeing things the Libertarian party is the only one that still believes in true liberty

By the way, the only "real" threat to my country as of this very moment is the one coming from the far left. If we were to objectively look at what is sinking and destroying western society in general, it is the doing of far left ideologies. The destruction of religion and the traditional family nucleus and values, feminism, race division, feminizing men and diminishing their importance to society and 50 others. In your country, you can literally end up in jail for "misgendering" someone (Bill C-16). That's how far left your country has become and will continue to. It's ok I guess, we are going in the same direction little by little, there are already some blue states working on that one. I know in Canada there is absolutely nothing you can do to defend yourselves against government tyranny and that's where we differ greatly. Although these last few years I have really questioned if we even deserve the 2nd amendment and if people even begin to understand the responsibility that we have as citizens, only time will tell but it's not looking too bright. The last generation of Americans that truly loved America is dying off one by one, I no longer think the West can be saved but I sure hope I am wrong, for the sake of our children I hope I am wrong.
