The problem I see is we love him here in Florida but what about the rest of the states. He is liked but not as much as Trump. 2024 may not be the year for him. As for being Trumps VP I don't think having two alpha males would work out well.

I'm for trump but would like DeSantis to win the nomination
I always have been a Trump guy but I am afraid he may not be able to draw in enough of the middle of the road voters to win. He has a long time - hopefully he will learn to not be quite as abrasive to be able to draw in voters sick of Dem policies- time will tell.
What scares the hell out of me is if Desantis runs and wins the nomination, it wouldn't surprise me that Trump gets so pissed off that he makes a run for President as an Independent. That would spilt enough conservative votes between the two of them to ensure that Brain Dead Joe gets 4 more years to screw up what he hasn't yet had the time to. We'd be so screwed up by the 2028 election that it would take a miracle to undo all the harm done before the country is either out of money, out of borrowing ability or having a minimum tax rate north of 40%

I've watched Niki Haley several times being interviewed. I really liked her but she seems to dodge allot of thexquestions by spewing her talking points not answering the question at hand
So I'm leaning more and more towards DeSantis. Watched his interview on Mark Levin. Seems like a no bullshit guy.
There is maybe hope for Chicago - they kicked this liberal idiot to the curb. Turns out folks don’t like walking down the street getting mugged or shot. They need a General Patton in there to clean that place up so folks can have decent lives not living in fear !!!
They haven't learned anything other than to elect a less colorful character .....
"Chicago Public Schools CEO and city budget director Paul Vallas will face off against Cook County Board of Commissioners member Brandon Johnson in the April 4 runoff."
