Like many here I have radio reception issues due to the back up camera. My VIN number is one that is not on the recall list so I was wondering if anyone may have done this or if it is even possible. Can the wire that powers the back up camera be split to a dash switch? That way the power to the camera can be shut off so it doesn't interfere with the radio and switched on only when needed? In the accessory position the radio is fine but when the key is in the ignition position, nothing but static. Am I on the right track here? Can anyone help with what wire, location of where to splice in? Thanks for any help or advise.
