If that's the case and you're working with a small dealer that hasn't had a whole lot of slingshot action in their shop you might not want to be first on their recall and learn list
Question on Swing Arm

Your not going to change the metallurgical properties by going to 325 to 350 degrees for only 10 to 15 minutes. Think about it this way... if you were to leave your SS in the hot arizona sun I would say that an aluminum part that was exposed to that sunlight would get close to (and probably over 250 degrees)
Low temp curing powdercoat that cures at 325 degrees should be fine. Technically 375 degree powder coat should be fine. But since they make low temp powder i would use that. And always take out your seals and bearings.

I might need to add to my statement above. Metal of any type will change when heat or cold is applied in any amount. So yes, it will change the metallurgical properties when it is heated. The question is.... At what tempature and duration does it change to the point of no return and become dangerous. All I can say is I have powder coated wheels and swingarms and never had an issue and I have never heard of any issues. So my recommendation is stick with low temp powder and you should be ok.

I did talk to thew powder coater I have been using and they will not touch it. Said if its "Cast" they don't do it. They also don't do low heat.

Get some designs for the 'bags' !!!!? Are you and Karianna coming out to SSITS 2017?
-
We did get some designs we think will work. SSITS is questionable with my daily driver being in the shop and needing some engine repairs. We may come down early in the week just for a day or two .... at least that's the pressure I'm putting to her now
