Any body shops nearby? Maybe they can help.
Need help! Assault Hub won't budge!

I fixed mine a long time ago and it is one of the reasons I'm not crazy for the Assault hub.
The only way I was able to fix it was by getting an Assault Hub puller. I still have it and I'm more than happy to ship it to anyone if they ship it back when done and cover the shipping cost.
What puller are you currently trying to use?
Also used penetrating oil and a soft hammer to pound it left or right to make sure the splines were lined up correctly. -
Do you mind sending pictures of the assault hub puller ? Curious to see what the difference would be.
This is what I had been trying to do @TravAZ. . .
Plus many posts back list all the suggestions and the results. . . . Minus the heat. Only thing I haven't tried.
I put her all back together . . . Gave up basically . I'll forever have an assault hub and no quick release . Not my choice as I bought her used, but I can live with it.

The Assault puller is way smaller and will pull from the correct points. The "standard" puller I tired to use bent bolts also.
If you really want to get it off, just message me your address and I'll send the puller. We can send it around as the community forum puller.
See the difference here...

If the big will not work, that little one with just the 2 screws probably will not work either. Next best idea would be get a piece of 1/2 inch plate cut to size with a 1/2 inch hole in the center where you could use a a 1/2 inch bolt and a nut, and also drill the plate so that you can use all six screws to spread the pressure evenly around the hub. This will also let you put a little more pressure on the hub without stripping threads out or breaking the screws. Failing that cut/grind carefully to get the hub off. GOOD LUCK

I was thinking the same thing...
Either way, I've given up. Once you go Assault , you never go back I guess. . .
-
This may not sound right......but......what the hell
Once you get assaulted, you never get un-assaulted........See, i said it didn't sound right

The reason you are bending bolts and not being able to pop it off is because you are not getting the correct/needed leverage from the big puller. Shorter bolts and pulling straight off is what you need.
I spent days with your exact problem and used a big puller and made a puller with the same results. Used a bunch of penetrating oil, soft hammered it the the left a couple of times, and used that Assault puller and it came right off.
Up to you, but you know where a puller is if you decide on needing one. -
-
Thanks @TravAZ! My worry is I've already spent money on tools and the puller and nothing worked. Just worried I spend money on the shipping and still doesn't work.
Just going to live with it. It was a want to try and go shorter hub with a quick release , rather than a need. . .
Hopefully I can return the stuff I bought because I don't see the need to ever use that stuff again. . .

She wants you to do it!!

I really do believe if you use the correct puller, hardware, and penetrating oil it will walk off the spline. My puller is one of the smaller ones using two bolts like the assault. Come on MiM, don't let it beat you.

Somebody send me his address and I'll mail him mine - this darn thing is going to come out one way or another .... it's personal this time

Guys. . . You all are too much and this is exactly why I joined and LOVE this forum!
@TravAZ, @Slingrazor, or @Ross. . . Who has everything I would need? Puller, fasteners, etc? Who can send me the guaranteed results/hardware? I know that might be asking a lot, but that's about the only way I'd give this another shot. My assault wheel is already bent out of shape, but at least it's whole and turns.
There @TheRock. . . I'm trying

I've got the puller from Slingmods that I bought when I got my Assault hub
