I stripped all the powder coat and painted it all with gloss white VHT paint. It's frosty white.
I know where those Alpha boxes were headed!

What is the weather in Eureka Springs going to be. Everything I am seeing is wet with more wet. I know it's impossible to plan a trip around it but I was just curious.
-
As of yesterday .....
-
Just remember, the weather folks get paid even when they don't get it right! Think of it as a test track for tire tread depth, all week long. Still leaving at 5:30 AM in the morning, all packed!
-
I cant drive on water...... Dry pavement is like ice with mine.... Between the shit ton of power and the super shit Toyo its deadly.
-
And guess what,.... I'm ready to fire this beast up......

It will probably rain at some point (scattered) but biggest chance will be over by Sat. early.
Also, it's beautiful out right now. Saw a Sling coming in from OK in Tontitown about noon. I waved but forgot I was in my Jeep -
I actually forgot a tiny thing that im working on as we speak.... the throttle body wire. I don't have any slack in mine the way i have my other wires tapped. I have several other things that come out of my harness and that won't the loom come toward the direction it needs to.
No biggie,,,, I'm splicing and soldering and heat shrinking my splice now.
-
Be sure and tape them up when your done Rab. That way mixing the colors won't drive your OCD crazy all the way to Lake of the Ozarks.
Glad to see you're getting things close we are all looking forward to seeing the end result. -
I made it home from work in time!!!!

Hey @rabtech did you get a new dining room table? I don't recognize your work surface

You guys and gals have stuck with me like glue. I appreciate it. And I know Henry does. But it was a hybrid kit. And hopefully he has gained some info so he could market it to customers that already have a kit. A few things that need to be added is the oil pan with a bung in it. And a 3/8 NPT plug. And I think a throttle body wire extension..
One thing I got extra that I can't use (and he knew he accidentally sent it) was the exhaust heat shield. .. and one other thing that I don't need is the pcv cutout on the turbo inlet air tube. I run a baby K&N filter on my pcv outlet and it just hangs out and looks cool. -
I slide black heat shrink over the whole thing and it looks like factory.

You wouldn't believe me. So I'll take a picture. I work from bed alot with my laptop. So I made this. -
I hope my wife don't slap the shit out of me for taking a picture of a wrinkled up comforter and not having the bed made properly.

Maybe 2 versions with an without the header.
I know in my case if my motor could exhale better and quieter I would jump on the upgrade. I am sure the turbo has advantages but it hard to justify removing something that is working so well. At least with the exhaust I have an issue I want to correct.
Before I put in the new motor it was fine but now it is psychological - I know how much HP it is costing me. -
How many of yall can solder in bed......
