Looks like your Slingshot is a Canadian version. I don't have the answers but there are some questions to that conversion. If you are not in the US you probably can't buy the lights directly. A non US Polaris dealer can't get them for you. I worked with a Slingshot owner over seas and he is running into trouble taking things apart to make the US lights work.

Where are you located?

yes it is a Canadian version but it has the wiring already there, l was thinking of aftermarket lights because the center part of the hood is a smaller opening the the US version

l live in Ontario Canada

I find it interesting to think about. From what I understand because the Slingshot is federally classified as a motorcycle here in the U.S. a center headlight is legally required. Clearly in Canada this is not the case, but it makes me wonder if there might be laws that actually prohibit center lights in Canada. I will say that before making a mod to add a center light I would want to check the laws first to be sure I didnt end up doing something illegal. I have no clue how things are in Canada, but here in the U.S., especially here in California where I am they are very picky about any added lighting on any vehicle, with all kinds of rules that are very easy to violate.
Anyway, just thought it was worth mentioning

thank you for your input will look in to it

The young man from Switzerland has the Canadian Slingshot and wanted the two oval center USA lights and it is a matter of the taking the whole front hood assembly apart to make the changes to install the USA lights and nose piece. You might want to look at lights that install lower on the front (fog light style). Might be an easier to install.

yes that would be easier then taking the front end all apart

One of the 'old guys' Painter has been tearing apart painting and putting back together since Dec 2014... The day they came out. here's a utube channel may give you a hint of how to tear apart a Slingshot..

In Ontario the slingshot is classified as a autocycle

In Ontario the slingshot is classified as a autocycle
in the U.S. some states have invented an "autocycle" class that they put the slingshot in, but federally the Slingshot is still a "motorcycle", also virtually every "attocycle" definition I have seen starts of by saying "an Autocycle is a type of motorcycle" - - -
funny side note - the primary reason why they classify it as a autocycle is to get away from the requirement for a special motorcycle license - here in California that was never an issue, because the motorcycle license here in California is specifically classified as a two wheel motorcycle endorsement - as such it was never required for any three wheeled motorcycle - even a Harley trike - not needed!

How is it 1. titled, 2. registered 3. Plated..... In Indiana a Slingshot i classified as a 'auto' cycle for the purpose of a driver's licenses. It's titled, registered and plated as a motorcycle. And youdo not have to have a MC endorsement in Indiana to drive one.

Here in Ontario a class G driver license all you need to drive a slingshot but a motorcycle plate need and insurance of a motorcycle

I guess that makes it a Motorcycle --- just like it was/is when manufactured.
Hope you can enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. 120,000 miles of smiles so far and hoping for lots more.

E.J. How many miles did you have on the first one?
Boy, about 13,000 miles on my GT and getting ready to turn 70. I will need to plan about 10 more South Dakota rides in the next year just to try and catch up to you. NOT!
