hello all. Has anybody had any issues with slingshot-accessories.com? I have had a rear fender ordered since 1/21.i was told 2 weeks, that came and went then on Monday i was told the hold up was something about a bracket but it would ship Monday and I’d get a tracking number Tuesday. I’m still waiting on that tracking number and they won’t respond to emails, texts, phone calls,Facebook messages. I really would like to have this fender but I’m almost to the point of taking my money somewhere else after i dispute the charges. Does anyone know of another way of reaching them? I think the guy i spoke with Monday said his name was Dewayne

Scanman if the engine you bought is bad and they refuse to help you out then contact your credit card company and try to dispute it
-
Scanman just curious if you got your slingshot back yet? I haven’t seen an update lately

I’ve made some progress, have my axle side bearings installed and the zerk fitting installed.just waiting on my front bearings to come in.

i went throught he comments again and don't see where there is a measurement for the bearing i need. they are all related to the pulley side needle bearing. thanks though
-
I couldn’t find it in my service manual either. I have looked at the Zeke fitting thread and didn’t see it but will look again. I can always wait until i get my old one off and measure it

i bought a used swingarm without bearings and had it powder coated black,I’m installing all new bearings and adding a grease fitting for the pulley side needle bearing.my question is does anyone have the spec on how deep i need to install the pivot needle bearing? I’m not referring to the pulley side needle bearing,i know that one. I’m attaching a pic to show the one I’m needing,it’s #22. Thanks

opiemobile where did you get the upper center lights? Are they easy to install? I’m thinking about replacing my stock center round ones with something brighter

this is the closest I’ve seen to what I’m looking for. Thanks kyslingshot. I want these but they need to be the chasing led strips. I’ve looked on litethenite and others websites but can’t find them. Guess I’ll have to make my own. Thanks

So I’ve been searching and can’t seem to find out the info i need. I seen some slingshots at Maggie valley that had a led strip on each side of the black plastic that is in front of the rear tire. It runs vertical and they were chasing leds. Who makes these and does anyone have a link to buy them. Also how are they mounted?

I’m still going with a dropped valve or bent valves. If it was a valve issue you possibly could have gotten off cheaper by rebuilding it. Hopefully you find someone that’ll change it for you for a reasonable price.
-
pull the valve cover and take a look at the roller followers. Maybe some valves let loose. If they bend valves they usually throw the followers out of position. It’s easy and quick to pull the cover to check Scanman

i agree with Funinthesun. I also work as a shop foreman in a Gm dealership and hold ase master status,General Motors master status and General Motors world class titles. Please provide more info on what they tested. I wish you were closer to me so i could take a look at it and give you a better option.

Go to Slingshot Roasters web site events. I just deleted the events off of my e-mail
FunCycle i couldn’t find and hours listed
-
does anyone have the schedule for events? Also the hours that the fairground is open during the events
-
i sent an email to slingshot roadsters and was told it’s $12 per person per day to get in to the fairground. We are coming down Friday 6/2/23 and going to walk around the fairground then find some routes to go ride on Saturday and leave sunday
