Welcome to your new home away from home. I sure hope that dealer knows it's NOT being registered in CA. That would impact the OTD pricing as you'd be paying NEVADA tag, title and sales tax which HAS to be less than what the crooks in CA charge. If you know what you're looking to buy, I have an in with a local dealer who has contacts in many states and can get you a great deal and will ship to you. I'd glad to place a call to them for you if you want to at least give them a chance to earn your business,

Welcome to the group! This is hands downt he best forum for Slingshot information and there are a TON of knowledgeable people in here. xd675x aka Scott Riley is the owner of Sport Rider in WI. It's a ways for you but he's a great guy and may be able to get you what you want. Good luck with your search and if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out!

I'd go with Kyle's recommendation then. If he can get you one at a great deal, the shipping to Nevada from WI will be less than shipping one to you from Florida. But let me know if he strikes out. I'll check with my contact when I get home today

Whylee Fly into WI and drive your new Slingshot home. Take a day or two and drive around WI and have Scott do the 500 mile oil change before you start home.... He has been doing that type of service since 2015.

My work obligations have me working 7 days a week for the past year. Its a good thing because I stashed enough to buy a Slingshot, but now that its time to buy and the availability issue, it may not work out this year, for now im still searching.

There are a lot of great used ones around -- low miles and great prices.

It really just comes down to how much money you want to spend. It can start at $15,000 and go all the way to $40,000 just for the Slingshot and then plus the mods. The cheap mods will run from $5,000 to $10,000 and then you step up big from there.

That's the time frame that were are hearing from all parts of the country. Often one will come in to a dealer that was ordered and canceled at the last minute that they may have of the floor for a short minute. Make friends.
