Guess I'm the odd guy out....I have no problem pulling into the car wash. Mainly hit the non painted surfaces like the brakes and such, and a quick "no spot" rinse of the paint if needed.

The very last manual car wash in my area was torn down two years ago and replaced as automatic. Wish I had manual car wash facility!
Hand wash if not done right will create swirls. That's why I always wash the sling myself.
You guys must live in an area that gets no dirt. I get fall out from the cooling towers and smoke stacks at work and the dirt from the farm fields every time I drive it. Power wash it real good even under the hood. Dont see no reason not too. Even power wash my truck engine never an issue
I just wash it if I ride in rain or go through messy construction areas. Otherwise, it stays really clean.
Killing me! My SS is the only vehicle that gets my full attention! She sees a soapy pressure washer, a spray down then leaf blower dry at least 3 times a month then armor all and spray detail with microfiber. Can’t stand a dirty ride. Motorcycles were the same way my whole life.
