If we had not already purchased our aftermarket shocks, this sure does appear to be a great deal at under $500 for a set?

tempting
So is it that Polaris is no longer offering the adjustable shocks on current models?
Bill
that is a damn good price - - especially when you consider how much things have been going up
I for one not experiencing a mono shock upgrade I can honestly say that if ya save up the air ride is phenomenal. I know it’s not cheap but wow could you drive the hell out of your sling.
And I drive a semi with air bag shock combo. Shocks do matter in my setup but we talking 80k lbs lol. If it wasn’t for the weight I’d be a boat on wheels. It was a lot of research and digging that brought to the decision to go all out with air ride. But I’m also a realist what works for me doesn’t work for someone else. But if ya can’t afford it don’t do it either we all have limitations and can’t exceed them so damned if ya do and damned if ya don’t

And here I thought that I got a super good deal by purchasing a set of USED QA1 shocks for $600! These brand new shocks are over $100 less than that!

Heck I got my JRI GTs on sale for $999 and I still think that was a great deal
Sent from my iPhone using Polaris Slingshot Info
I had my jri shocks rebuilt to the touring 23k ago. So not ready for new shocks. I hope when the touring need replacing they will rebuild them again for the same $300.
Damn it! I just ordered a pair! Glad i still had my stock SLR shocks. Came out to $536 total shipped!! Great find. How hard are these puppies to install?
btw thats not the only thing they have on clearance guys..
quick question, can these coilovers also adjust ride height or only damping?
easy install but back one takes patience. Need 2 people for back shock install.
Theyare easy to install. The back one you just go ahead and pull 3 or 4 screws on the back panel so you can pull it out a little OrangeSlingFL

that's a dang low price, but from what I have read it doesn't flow air any better than my stock air box and I already switched to a K&N filter so not much point for me
but thanks for the heads up
I just took the back panel off and had access to replace rear by yourself not too hard
Don't have to remove panels. I take tires off since I have a quickjack. Fronts are simple. Rear I attach the top first letting the bottom of the shock lay down so I can get my fat hand in the opening to align the holes up. Put tape on the socket and put socket on extension. Tape is so bolt doesn't fall out. Have 2nd person put socket extension thru the access hole in the passenger storage compartment. Screw it on and then attach the bottom. Of course torque the bolts. For those that don't know, the nut for the top fitting is welded to the frame so you don't have to worry about it falling off when removing the bolt. Pretty simple...
Ya I learned that nut being welded after having a wrench on it 😂

key words - - "have 2nd person" - - - getting my wife out in the garage to do any kind of work on the slingshot is much more difficult than simply dropping the back - very easy one person job and unless you are in some kind of hurry why turn it into a 2 person job?
I just hate those oem screws!
