Another fear for the direction of the county is a drift to lessen the actions of the perpetrators with a focus placed on "what did everyone else do to cause the perpetrator to take the action". Could be a factor but drifting away from personal responsibility?

I wish that you could trust that the younger youth are simply smart mouths. Just yesterday a 13 year old stabbed a young lady to death. Seems more & more common, Maybe I'm getting older but the youth today don't have a childhood. They don't laugh, smile, run-around or interact in a friendly way. I live in a semi-safe neighborhood but steadily you can see younger kids really messed-up. Not all, but so many are like zombies.
Computers, smart phones and technology, although good, may in turn prove too much for people to handle. Group think combined with limited life experiences may be a real issue in years to come.
I'm glad I had the opportunity to grow up in a different time.

It's sad, I would love to show support for the president but it's too much to lose. Worried about vandalism to personal property. Vehicle keyed, trash on the lawn etc. Wasn't like that a few years ago.

Interesting how to defend Trump you just point out what others may have done wrong. You are aware, much like Russia and the Ukraine can interfere in our elections, Trump and others can both be guilty of wrong doing, right?

Not true, I'm not defending President Trump. I'm defending MYSELF, that's important to me. I've lived my life within a level I could afford and still save for the future. That future is now, it was a good choice. Now, the new democratic party comes along. No border, free health care, social programs, debt forgiveness. I've paid for Medicare, Social Security, Pension Plan Etc. for over 44 years. Not free for me. Is it?
The only time something is free is if you don't contribute into the system. Everyone else must pay over and above to cover the costs. So... after contributing into the system for years the democratic party wants to grant free Medicare and access to social programs that I do not qualify for? Do you think the right thing to do is charge me for 44 years and turn around and give social programs freely to those who have contributed nothing? Then add those increased costs onto my back. You can't have a stressed program and add millions with the expectation to lower the costs. It can't happen! It's going to crash the system.
I'm a stones through away from retirement. No way I could recover from the drain on the system. I care about that. Contribute nothing and you have nothing to loose. But for those who have contributed for their whole life they have a lifetime of contribution to loose. That's scary!

Oh, fear not my Republican brothers and sisters. If the Senate doesn't impeach Trump he will be re-elected. Prevailing wisdom says that when Trump gets away with something(Russia if you're listening), he doubles down(Ukraine quid pro quo), then triples down(China should look into...) while his double down is being investigated. He will surely quadruple down. I understand the Republican position. Your team "wins" if you cheat, forget that the USA is your team also. Gerrymandering election maps(Dems do it also to a lesser degree), limiting the number of polling stations in minority communities and encouraging, supporting our President asking foreign countries to interfere in our elections.
On that note I'm happy we came to a tenative agreement with China. The timing, a week after Trump publicly asked them to interfere in our election, seems a little on the nose.
I'm trying to follow a logical sequence of events? Russia? Didn't President Obama shake hands with a Russian diplomate and inform he would be in a better position after elected? Prior to President Trump? Double down how? Didn't a Clinton funded 3rd party research & produce a dossier by a foreign operative who was known to hate president elect Trump to be used against president Trump? No accident there, double down how? Didn't Vice President Biden Provide the support to Hunter Biden to obtain a position for his son to move into a position on a foreign energy firm. No experience. Double down how? Biden threatens with firing a florigen prosecutor on tape for all to see and gets away with it. So... a V.P. of the United States can abuse his power and its OK. But the consequence's of looking into those abuses result in an impeachment? Nothing wrong there. Double down how?

Absoulty, I'm actually in NJ 15 Mi east of Philly. Allentown is about an hour N. West in PA. I don't watch Philadelphia news. It's openly anti Trump. They say Trump in the same tone of the Liberty Insurance commercials when they say "Doug". Never giving credit, ever.
I am familiar with Doylestown, nice town. Hope it stays that way. Lots of expansion! I wanted too hook up with you & mytoy for the trip back from Slingshots in the Poconos but the card Mytoy gave didn't have his Phone #.

Republicans have done the same thing with Hillary, who never was President. Were Republicans were rejoicing those investigations? They call her guilty of Murder, child trafficking, negligent homicide(Bengazi), pay for play, illegal mishandling of classified material, obstruction of justice, illegal campaign financing, corrupt charity contributions. All these things have been investigated, some exhaustively.
Her charity is to my knowledge still under investigation by the FBI. Trey Gowdy concluded a one year investigation into her with no hard, damning evidence. He only stated, "We found some interesting things that should be looked into further". I say, "Look into those "Interesting things". If there is a there, there, find it and prosecute her".
Many Republicans, regardless that not enough evidence was found in those investigations to convict her, insist she is guilty of every crime and then preach about "innocent until proven guilty".
For the record, I never once cried foul during any of the investigations into her. Yes, I said some were silly, but said if the Republicans feel it's warranted and it makes them feel better, it's no skin off my back. I'm not the one going to prison if they find something and I don't care enough about any politician to care if they are investigated, found guilty, prosecuted and imprisoned. I just don't. Many care way too much about their party, to really care about justice. They can pretend to care, they can even call out the same wrong doing by the other team, but when it comes to their team, "It's different", It's not.
Ambassador Stevens contacted secretary Clinton on multiple occasions concerning the lack of security at Benghazi, denied multiple occasions. As events unfolded and violence escalated out of control hours lapsed and nothing was done. Nothing! Unacceptable! What would it have taken to pick up the phone and contact Sigonella AFB and request a few Fighter jets on standby to do a fly over as a show of force? 13 hours!
Then come out and say it was because of an offensive video? 13 hours, nothing done. To back this up as acceptable is totally beyond my comprehension?

The democrats have been constantly attempting to prove guilty from day one. Insurance policy/impeach 45/quid pro quo/impeach/impeach/election interference while under democratic control. Guilty, guilty, guilty. It's been unrelenting and destructing to the country.

I just saw a recording of this Prof Karlan stating back in 2017 she was in NY and while walking by Trump Towers she had to cross the street! Making a mockery of President Trump. This is a witness. She also donated thousands to varying Democratic resources. This is a witness.
