Depends on which field that ticket is calculated for the fine. Again, sounds like a good reason to get it thrown out. I'm no lawyer though.

that math doesn't add up, says you were doing 90 in 55 limit, but he state you were going 26 over.

Sounds like a technical reason to get out of it :)

You definitely did not put that adapter back in on your installation, some people install it like that, others put the adapter back in, it works either way and is really just a personal preference.

Well, I love it, works great. Only thing I may do is take the short shifter back out and re-grease and twirl it a few thousand times to smooth things out :)

I’ve been waiting on this race for awhile, glad to see it’s a reality.

I’m sure others are in this same situation, looking for advice. I have the Welter 2.5” and it’s installed with Permatex sealed joints. How difficult is it to remove the rear section of the exhaust with that sealant on there? How is that done, use a torch to heat it up? If it’s a real PITA then maybe I’ll skip the brace. Thanks!

I'll tell you from experience that it's a pain to remove. I didn't have to heat, thought I was going to have to though, it took a LOT of twisting and moving back and forth to get it out.

Slopoke can attest me working on mine to get it out, and me doing a lot of cussing.

Keep in mind, the y-pipe is just a 2", and we had to put a v-band there in order to take the y-pipe out, due to how we routed my setup. The rest of the v-bands are 2.5", going through the transmission tunnel and torsion box.

It sounds like wokka has a technical edge on me but I make a mean Jambalaya! Bill Martin I'm not going to sing the praises of Hughes Net but I will say that my wife has been working from home this year doing daily zoom meetings and it has worked for that. And of course it gets me on this forum which is extremely important to at least one member here (me).

The two biggest problems with Hughes or any other satellite provider is the latency (time it takes the data to get up to the satellite and then back to Earth), which is typically 10 times longer than cable/dsl type connections. The other problem is the limited bandwidth. This has gotten better in the last few years, but they still have pretty low data caps, so things are good until you hit that, then they slow you down to old dial-up speeds.

One computer, phone or tablet downloading an OS update will suddenly eat up a lot of your data, on top of video streaming on something like Netflix, and the last 10 days of the month you are throttled.

I made the offer to Bill, but if anyone has questions, let me know.

I’ll have a bottle & cigar waitin on ya. Imma learning about this mountain real estate. It’s hard to find something that checks off all the boxes. Long range view, flat parking area are fairly easy - but I’ll be damn if Imma spend $500k in a house and can’t stream Netflix - NO INTERNET!! I may have to come down the mountain to get what we want but jeez the riding and view are always minutes away!!

Bill, look in the area for wireless ISPs. I'm far enough in the boondocks that is the only real internet I can get (satellite based isn't fast enough for my work, nor the latency)

I have 80mbps with an antennae up on a tower. You have a modem/firewall just like any other ISP. If you need help or details on it, ping me.

I was looking in Walmart earlier this week...nothing....there is a little kid that lives several blocks away from me....I don’t know him but everytime he hears me coming he runs out of the house to wave at me as I go by.....so I’m going to get two and paint them fast gray.....and give him one for Christmas.....I also want to give him a ride around the block......he’s my biggest fan.....

Just don't offer him a ride in your van... :)
