No surprise to all of us that came to Slingshots from bikes. He grabbed a hand full of front brake while in the turn (can see the nose of the bike dive right before he goes down). Pretty much a guarantee the front end is going to slide out when you do that.... He wasn't even going that fast since bike barely made it across the road before sliding to a stop.

But the cop had a pucker effect...
Could he sue the cop? Bill Martin, what say you? 😆

It was a single vehicle accident. Guy saw cop and failed to maintain control of his bike.
I had a woman make a left turn in front of me, saw me coming towards her and stopped in the middle of the road. I stopped so quickly that I couldn't get my feet down and the bike and I fell over. The driver's daughter called the police. Since she had turned in front of my path, had I hit her vehicle, she would have been at fault, but since I didn't hit her, the cop wrote it up as a single vehicle accident, saying I had failed to maintain control of my bike, completing ignoring the fact that she had improperly turned left into my path. I was really irritated that had she not turned in front of me, I never would have dropped the bike, but my complaints amounted to nothing. Still irritates me to this day.

Not the cop - but yes to the guy that taught him how to ride
