This may have been put out before, but being cheap as I am, I cant see just having to use just the Polaris Brand SS-4 Oil. I'm almost at the first 500 mile oil change and found this list https://www.gmdexos.com/brands/dexos1/index.html for approved dexos1 engine oils. Hope this helps someone out. Not trying to start "a which is the best brand oil to use" flame thread.

In other testing articles.....the top top oils/synthetics are valvoline full synthetic and mobile 1.
That info means if you use anything on that list GM won’t void your motor warranty. My owners manual for my pickup truck specifically states that if you don’t use dexos (in my case it was part oil and part synthetic) my warranty is void.
I don’t think they are actually saying which one is best....just that each one has met our minimum requirements.
It’s like the brain Surgeon that graduates at the bottom of the class....he’s still a doctor..

Just providing an approved list.I know that the 'dealer' first service is a little costly, but that also shows 'Polaris' that you have checked in for potential problems... I have a dealer that really looks over everything. I also bought the extended warrantee … but in 4.5 yrs I have put 83,000+ miles in the seat.
