Okay, folks. Worked with Mitch as intermediary with his vendor friend on getting a hood insert. I sketched a rough draft & a description of what I wanted on a piece of paper, snapped a pic of my childlike artwork & PM'd Mitch. Simple as that! The hood insert is laser-etched solid stainless steel with pre-drilled holes. Lay the insert on the ABS, mark the holes, remove the ABS, drill it, install insert onto ABS w/stainless hardware & nylock nuts, reinstall whole assembly on hood - DONE! Looks freakin' AWESOME (IMHO)!!!! First pic by Mitch prior to shipping. Sorry for second (crappy) pic after installation, will post more later... More mods coming soon so more to follow on the "today's project" thread. Bottom line?! This is a high quality, beautiful product that can actually be customized exactly like you want it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
