@Trooper I shouldn't, Amazon says my new one will be here tomorrow, but I appreciate the offer. Thank you

Thank y'all, I just placed my order, and I've bookmarked the directions.

Thank you. I'll go ahead and order it.

I recently broke the protective glass cover on one of my center headlights. The parts list for "Forward Lighting" shows the 2 center light modules but I don't need both. I found what I think is a single module replacement, Amazon.com: HELLA 009998021 12V/65W 90mm Bi-Halogen High/Low Beam Headlamp Module: Automotive . Can anyone confirm this single unit will work, or advise what single unit I need? I'd hate to spend the money to find out I have to replace both at the same time. TIA

..and you are doing a fine job of it
Thank you!

@hrmiracle, I don't suppose any of your 'how to' pics are still around, are they?
-
Thanks, not exactly what I wanted to hear but I'm not surprised, nothing about this thing is cheap... I guess I follow that Amazon link from above that @hrmiracle posted. Thanks for the reply @funinthesun.

I replaced my center lights last year at Maggie Valley with LED's and they are working fine. Problem is, this year on the way down to Maggie Valley I apparently had one of my center lights hit by a rock. The light itself still works, just the outside lens is shattered. Does that whole housing have to be replaced, or can I just replace the glass part?

Hey @G-Man, glad to see you found us again. We were looking for you all when we went to SSITS, tough luck with the cruise thing but we are glad to hear you survived...haha

I got my Optima the other day but haven't had a chance to install it yet. Looking forward to one less issue to worry about, plus I'm tired of jump starting every time I want to ride.

@Solow, that rack is about the perfect size and I like the railing too. Good Job

I have 16 camera setup.
what brand?

No matter which side wins the election, the shit is going to hit the fan the day after. Those of us that still believe in "truth, justice, and the American way" need to be prepared for anything...just my opinion.

It is a return to dealer light. Not sure what you expect to find here. Took me three visits to the dealer to get my brakes right, but now they are great. I blame only Polaris for the fuss.
And be mindful that your brakes are what let you stop. A proper diagnosis, access to information not in the wild, and free service are only available at the dealer.
While you don't think the dealer knows anything about a sling, your post suggests you know even less. Warranty was part of the purchase price. Use your brain.
@ethermion, you're right I don't know anything about the Slingshot, I realize the dealer knows all, but when I get home from them repairing something and I have to fix what they screwed up, I get a "tad" upset. There is more than one "fix" in these forums to eliminate having to run to the dealer every time the Slingshot farts. I do respect your opinion though, however opinions are like 'noses', everyone has one. You can keep yours and I'll keep mine.
-
So has anyone come up with a "fix" for the brake light staying on? I sure hate to have to take it back to the dealer, they may know 4 wheelers but they don't know crap about SL's.

@Live-a-Little!, here's a link to another thread on this forum with a lot of information on this hitch system. Wycked Hitch Beta Testing & Product Suggestions I think it's the best option available, it's sturdy, you can remove the hitch when not in use, and it's different looking. I'm sure @RichArlt would answer any question you had about the hitch. They are available from @Noel Hughes at slingshotonly.com.

Here's my little cargo trailer that also went to SSITS this year.

@'slinging', thanks for checking on that.

I got a rear spoiler installed at Maggie Valley and my Polaris cockpit cover no longer fits, it looks like this might work. How small it will roll up, would it fit in the Polaris cockpit bag? Wouldn't be much good if it was too big to take on the road.
