I have the Madstad bronze double bubble. Love them. If it gets to hot just take out the 4 screws for middle panel and it is like stock double bubbles. Allows the air flow off each shield to hit the other person. With middle shield in place no wind buffeting. In have the tall, going to order the shorts this week. They told me in the past that if I wanted to trade in I could. Something like $120 they send it I try it if I like just send back my others. Plan on keeping my talls for colder weather riding.
I have a madstad tinted windshield and I'm thinking about selling it and get a tinted ripper from Polaris... Would like to know what you guys think... Good idea or not? The madstad looks new. No complaints just think the ripper looks real cool. Haven't seen one in person yet.
Since I installed the madstad unit I never bothered with the adjustment. Never felt the need to adjust it based on wind..
Look forward to your comments.
I had the 11 and have cut it down to 9 and about to cut it to 7 in order to look over all the time and not thru it. Not bad to cut if you take it off and tape the edge you are cutting
Maybe I'll give away my double bubbles on the forum. The Madstad in ruby looks like my sling is wearing shades. I honestly thing the double bubbles are the best shield that Polaris put out.
Sorry to bring this back... @Cameron Roberts, do you still have double bubbles? They'd be a great baby gift!
Seriously, I'm interested if you still have them. I removed my f4 all together so I have no shield (except my helmet) and enjoy the air, but I'm in the south, so double bubbles sound interesting...
Looking at maybe trading my f4 for a stock, tinted ripper too...
