Doing a reassembly after crash and it's been a few months and I'm old and drink to much.
Do the two rubber numbers that mount on the nose if front get mounted flush to plastic, I.e. The are not adjustable or did I miss something?
Question on rubber hood bumbers

I believe they do have a set height to keep from hitting . . . Might need trial and error, then mark the bolt? Just guessing here. . . Someone wiser will provide a better answer I'm sure. . .

Both the Slings are set up the same way with the bumper all the way down and the nut on from the bottom to secure.

mine have a lock nut on the top side, and are screwed into a welded nut underneath. There is about 1/2" of the threaded rod part above the metal, with the top nut snugged down to the metal. They are set up like that so you can adjust the front nose level, making sure it will clear all the engine compartment hoses, etc.

Guess it depends on who assembled it. . . Mine are raised. . . Will provide pic tonight as I attempt my valve cover install!

If I remember correctly what you do is set them all the way down, close the hood then raise them up to meet the hood + 1/4 turn.
Somewhere someone posted how to adjust them, can't remember if it was here or the dark side. my comments are from memory _ not a very good memory either -

I think this is the set up I have on the nose, out on the lights they are adjustable but down in front of rad they are all the way down. Well at least that's what I'm going to start with, and adjust after hood install.
Thank you all -
Yes, that's correct! Down at the nose. . . Headlights are raised.
