Here are some pictures of the lines and piping for install reference
Where did you pry on the oil pan to break it loose? We have removed the 15 small bolts along with the 4 larger ones and it will not release.

Toward the back next to the transmission there is a tab on the side where you can put a HUGE flat blade screwdriver... I will see if i can find a picture and post it.
Its in this area on both sides. I believe its the depression you can see in the pan picture. The reason I say "believe" is because it was a long time ago when i did mine... However you will see it for sure when you get to that area...
You can also see that third circle i made that looks like its in the wrong area... I actually slipped a screwdriver in that area and gently (because you could break that tab off) pried it.

Thanks @rabtech
I was able to use the tab next to the starter and delicately pry against the spot where the starter mounting bolts go into the engine.
Something to remember.... The oil pickup has to be sealed with a thin layer of gasket maker. It dosen't take a lot. but it has to be there...
Sorry for my tracing being all over the place.... Its hard to trace on a macbook trackpad.

Thankfully I noticed that on the oil pan that I took off and I did apply some on that section too.
Any tips on the ducting portion as I'm getting ready to start that now?
Ducting portion? Not sure what you mean by that?
The piping for the air
what kit are you installing
The instructions say to remove the oxygen sensor but never tell you where to move it to or what to replace it with. Alpha stage 1 uses the factory manifold so should I ignore that step and leave it in?
The reason you remove the oxygen sensor is to prevent it from hitting the frame when you raise the engine up.
So are you installing an alpha or hahn? You mentioned alpha but you said the directions went against what you were doing?
Take some pics of what you have done so far and the engine bay so I can se where you are in the install.... And post some pics of the parts you have to install....
I have the Alpha stage 1 system.
It looks good. Someone that knows the Alpha system will probably post here shortly ... @Turbosling may see this and reply....
Not trying to confuse any issues, but I see you have an intercooler. I always thought if there's an intercooler, it was at least a stage II system. Stage I has no intercooler.

You cannot (have never been able to) get an Alpha system without an intercooler ....

I was wondering the same thing. This link explains it some.
Difference between stage 1 stage 2 and stage 3 tuning modifications.
The "stages" are just a simple industry accepted suggested naming convention.... The link you referred to in the previous post is how most "kits" are generally built.
I haven't spoke to Henry about his kits and what is technically in his current kits. Now that supply has caught up with demand it's probably not worth the effort to build a "stage 1" kit.
Sure you could do it. But with Hahn selling the 2X system at a little over $3000 now why would anyone choose to do a no intercooler weaker system????. I'm sure Henry is doing the same and just selling one "ready to ship" system now for the lower price.
Thats my guess... Maybe the printed directions just hasn't caught up with the product that is actually shipping...
By the way,,, I am completely familiar with the Hahn system.. I have only general broad knowledge of the Alpha turbo system,... I can help you with things like the oil pan and some other common issues between systems...
I would only confuse you at the point your at now... I hope someone can chime in now and maybe even provide you with some further detailed info.....
