Well I just returned from coonass land from the toughest week of my life. I want to thank all of you publicly here (privately later) for all the words of support, flowers and love my bride and I received. When you have a tragedy of this magnitude the only thing that gets you through is family and friends. Since my bride and I have no family left it was friends that supported us through burying our daughter. After the funeral my buddies threw a celebration of life for my girl. They cooked turtle sauce piquant, cochon de lait - (coonass cooking a whole pig in the ground), gumbo, all the beer, fine Kentucky bourbon you could drink. We are still wrapping our head around this but wanted to thank my forum buddies for everything. I wouldn’t say that I’m a really religious man but somehow I know God is smiling down at you guys for sure.
