Error code P0113 Intake Air Temperature Sensor. Voltage Too High.

    Hello,

    On my 2018 Slingshot SL, I am getting the "P0113 Intake Air Temperature Sensor. Voltage Too High" error code.

    Restarting a couple times, clears the code, but then it comes back after driving a little.

    It still seems to drive normal.

    I replaced the Intake Air Temp sensor, but error code keeps coming up.

    Any help/feedback is very much appreciated.

    I just had a customer with this issue. I would check the wires going into the connector and see if one of the pins in there came unseated. You can grab the connector and push the wires into the connector to see if it clicks back in and re seats. I would also check around that part of the harness and see if the insulation on any of the wires is cracked or open which could cause a short. Hope this helps. The loose pin in the connector ended up being the issue for the customer.

    Sure would be a whole heck of a lot easier to help out IF Polaris used an OBDII connector and not their Digital Monkey (Wrench) and Canbus system. I guess that's one way to try to keep the service business in house for added profits
