I'm pretty sure when I go to my in-laws in LA (not California or Lower Alabama) they use some kind of voodoo juice and serve it in what used to be a child's tea set. It however, is the best coffee I've ever had and I'm unable to recreate it at home.

Yeah you right!! My coonass Paw Paw made Cajun coffee like that - don't know what he did but best coffee I was ever served - in the little white cups also. OLD Cajun tradition
