Houston in June, going to be HOT and HUMID
Kinda like Huntsville last June?

It's @Ruptured Ducks birthday...not that I need a reason to party but this definitely deserves a celebration
Happy birthday
Hope you have a great day Sir
If this virus doesn't get me or the cancer slows me down too much we are planning on coming up there. We have a cabin rented with Mr and Mrs V-SHOT behind Joeys Pancake house. Planning on making a pot of gumbo again and of course red beans and rice.
Hopefully I will bring the Sling this year. Really looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Really hoping to get to meet you finally Rob. You were on my must meet list last year but it didn't work out. Gonna try harder this year!
Have trailer, will travel!
I've always driven the sling where I was going but I made the decision to change that this year. Hopefully I'll have a trailer by then as long as this virus doesn't interrupt the build schedule. 🤞
Just carry an Umbrella and open it up from Inside without getting Out while you are sitting in the rain inside the Slingshot?????
Sounds like you saw her last year
A 5X7 tarp just for staying dry will work over roof pretty good for sitting still.
JUST SAYIN
Yep...but someone would still have to get out and put it on...what you guys are missing is it has to be doable from inside the sling
ooooo Lucky you!! Nice!
If I had your weather I wouldn't worry about it
I am done on this subject, sure that little bit of roof will keep him dry.
The stock Polaris cockpit cover will work for that installed over, I am thinking any top. I know it will work on the UP Top
Yea...I use the cockpit cover over the top but she would like something to use without getting out to put it on
Okey.... I live in Corona and may just have the Senior version of the virus but... forgive me for asking again and clarification. Are your seats heated from the INSIDE and no pads as in "built into the seat" or pads on the outside like I do?
I have PRP seats with heat built in. Sorry for any confusion
Most of them do.
Bonnie has been wanting me to work on a curtain system for when stopped but it hasn't made it very far up my priority list. I carry a cockpit cover that fits over my top but she wants some sort of curtain to flow the water off the top and over the side without getting out .
Deja vu
SoCal I've got heated seats. You might adapt it to your needs but sounds like a lot of effort for temporary seat cushions. Keep us posted if you decide to do it.
All buttoned up, tested, and approved
The knobs on the sides are for the seat heaters. I couldn't find the switches I wanted so I settled for these. They're actually DC motor controllers rated for 15 amps each. Now I can dial up whatever temp I want.
Well, feeling worse today, trouble breathing and painful coughing. Back to the doctors.
New diagnosis: bacterial pneumonia. Docs say we caught it early, so I'm going to be okay.
Another 14 days prowling around the house - no visitors - while I gobble antibiotics and steroids. Yay! This also knocks out my ZZP trip for the time being. I don't think I'll have trouble rescheduling, I kinda doubt the University will reopen this semester, so I'll have all the time I need once I'm feeling better. 😷🤧🤢🥵
Hard to like a post like that. Hope you feel better soon Doc. And that turbo will give you something to look forward to
This is our local Oddity - baffles me to this day why someone would build this
But it belongs here
This is my entry
The Bush is getting a little tall.
If you are paying attention, there is a dremel in the middle of Rab's mess. He's going to thin it out, one way or the other!
I know he's not afraid to cut wires. Watched him last year in Maggie valley
This rally is my personal favorite but I'm beginning to wonder if it will happen this year. I'm still planning for it and hoping to see you all there but realistically I'm thinking if it goes on attendance will be down.
Y'all stay safe and we'll see ya down the road
That was IT! I found the new POI and and as soon as I clicked on it, the red dot vanished! Thanks, DER , you're the man... lol
Glad you found it. It bothered me to
Yes! As of a few days ago, it's always there. I've searched everywhere for the golden egg that someone has hidden deep in the annals of the forum, but no luck. That stupid little red dot is driving me nuts! 🤬
Have you tried looking under user map ? Look for POI . Just a guess
