Can be done in fun.. always ways to go about in fun, yet sarcastic ways without going overboard when agreeing to disagree. And 100% right, anyone can pretend who or what they want to be behind a device. I go to this forum & HD forum once in a blue moon ( good people) other than that no FB / Twitter. The news/ posts can drive ya mental.. it’s a vicious cycle... it’s just so old... why I’m usually blind to politics... things going on should not be the American way

@BONES that is why he was the second on this forum that I blocked, I bet you can guess the first one also. I just wish people would even quite quoting them.

Get some black duct tape to put over the crack and it just might keep it from getting longer until you get the replacement.

That sounds great...the one thing that has me thinking is for the people with the Welter dual rear that are having problems with fumes...I wonder how adding these would effect the fumes...better or worse? Just something to think about!

I do not have fumes with my Welter Duals and the UP Top, never have even with the cat delete at the begining

That is how I do it and I damn sure do not have a million dollars, it would be nice. As far as work after retirement, I do not want any thing that I have to do, to dictate what I have to do each day. That is why they call it retirement, other than taking care of the home place that is all of the work that I do.

Retirement is so great! We summer in Nova Scotia and winter in Florida. Wonderful places for each of those seasons. The SS is trailered to Fl in Nov, and back to NS in May. We are not wealthy. But have a pretty good life. In my opinion, enter retirement debt free. Pay cash for stuff. But others will have different (and equally correct) opinions on both issues.

I would like a little more so that I could stay on the road more, but I do have enough to do pretty much as I want. The biggest problem with retirement for some is that they have no interest other that work and the almighty dollar. Retirement is time to step back and enjoy life and do some of the things that you have always wanted to do. I pretty much stay busy doing something every day, the SS is like a bastard child always something that I can do. I have been retired since Nov. 2005 at 58 years old and have enjoyed every day and you really learn to appreciate every day after a doctor just about kills you. Not a day goes by that I do not think about that, so you had better enjoy life while you can.The two pieces of advice that I have is to have everything paid off by the time you are 55 and contribute all that you can into a 401 or some type of savings for retirement.

I know there will be at least 3 out there, because that is how many @Painter auctioned off in Maggie Valley with no trades.

I had the Welter dual exhaust installed at SSITS and I love it. However, I was wondering if anyone has painted the last pipe (the Y pipe) with some sort of high heat temperature exhaust paint to match the rear panel. Maybe Painter knows a little about this or even Jeff. I thought about black heat wrap but was informed that could cause the stainless steel pipe to crack over time.

If it can be done, maybe someone can recommend the best paint to do this.

Look for the highest temp. rating that you can find. You could also cerrocote, I think that is right. @DKF Texas knows about this.

Wasnt there someone who made a set of..wings or spoilers or something that was attached at the back of the sling to help with this exact problem? Whatever happened to that? Do they work? Maybe that idea needs to be revisited!

I remember that...did we find out if they actually worked ?

The ones that I have do not help, but they do add color to the back end.
