Why did the bear cross the road?
Because he just wanted to!

This is what happens when the entire road is removed and MUD is put in place of asphalt!!!

Some Zion, Snow Canyon, areas in Springdale Utah. 1200 miles in four days
Awesome! I love to ride Utah. Now we are in Yellowstone but went through the Tetons first of course.

Nope..... Don’t think so. That nose piece is a bit of a “bear”. Put on first and then everything else put over it!

Headed to Zion tomorrow I’ll keep a lookout for a four legged sling!
Oh my....... We hit Bryce today. It was amazing! Now Kay has decided to head back to Durango, CO tomorrow and then North before heading to Oregon coast.

Smoothest finectomy I've seen, really looks great but I have to ask are the fastener paint as I suspect? Kinda hard to tell in the pic. Again great job Sir
Paint. (Except for the tiny screws around the hoops).
Thank you my friend! -

Finally well enough to take our June Ride. Kay and I are in Utah heading West.... or where ever we decide to head. Made some fenders to test (The right one is droopy for a reason) and have about 2500 miles on them so far with no issues yet (knock on wood!).
Also changed up the back deck and hoops.... LOVE IT! I can see what’s behind me now.
This pic was taken yesterday at Telluride, CO. -
I've seen all of your videos, but couldn't remember seeing anything about the nose piece. I'll go watch them again. Thanks.
stopped short of the nose piece but it’s in the subframe and has three friction tabs on each side. Use your thumb from the underside and push tabs to release nose piece.... EASY!

I'm no expert on body stuff, other than fine women, but when it comes to the sling, I'm scared to cut and haven't messed with any of it.
Saying that, the OEM parts places have nice breakdowns and pricing: If I'm reading this right, you are looking at part #11 for the LH side, and since yours is gloss and the SLR Orange, my guess it's the $563 part. https://www.partshark.com/oemp…od-fender-asm-all-options
Painter do you have any better ideas on it?
There are posts around giving other options for the OEM parts suppliers, they all have different pricing and shipping costs, and I've had to use 3 or 4 different ones, depending on what I've been ordering to get the best price.
https://www.polarispartsmonster.com/ is one I've used a couple of times as well as the above mentioned partshark.com.

Sorry but been a little tied up!
If you are talking about removing the Nose Piece (With the “Polaris” in it), you have to remove the Vent, Hood Inserts, Fenders and Hood to get that thing off. It is friction fit to the hood subframe. My Videos should help even though they are old.... like me! -
Pour Painter I keep pinging him on these questions. Luckily, he's a nice guy
Love ya !!
Been totally MIA and somewhat depressed with this virus thing. Spray can paint???? Do they actually make such a thing??I have the White lightning PPG code if you need it.

Painter is this something you can answer?
Never ever had to match the Navy so I’m not much help. One could take apart to any Auto Paint store and have it scanned. That would give the closest match to current automobile colors. They can also mix up touch up for you usually at a very reasonable price!

Painter and I already have our hotel reservations. We decided to not stay at the roadway and we will be crashing at the Hampton!!
That is only because I would like to sleep on “unstained sheets”, have more than a single roll of toilet paper for 3 days, not have to bath in disinfectant to kill “creatures” after the stay, have a staff that would give a shit and have heat/air in at least semi working condition!
-
Ask Painter about that.
Ahhhhh. I’ve learned that if I stay right behind the Master Driver FunCycle, I can make “white knuckle” corners. It was SlingRider who was daydreaming when he hit the 90+ degree at 55! TrakHamr saved his bacon on that one!

Yes..... That was an awesome day! Slingrazor had wrenches in every pocket, Dave@DDMWorks brought a “Truckload” of Superchargers and all the instruction sheets were immediately thrown in the trash!
Not only did we install SCs that day but also sway bars, coolant tanks, bypasses, hose kits, short throw shifters, brake pads and a host of other goodies from DDM.
The best part was the gathering of Owners, The camaraderie and the smiles from the new S.C. owners...... Lots of smiles!!!, That was a day I will never forget, -
123hotdog , I just sent you a PM. Need some assistance!
