What Dickless doesn't know is that my mother raised my brother and myself as a health and physical education professor after my father's death when we were 12 and 13 years old. She coached SPORTS and SPORTS put the food on my table, bought us our musical instruments, and kept the standard of living we enjoyed when my father was alive. She became Chairman of the Athletic Department and later Athletic Director. She had a long and distinguished career in SPORTS and even presented to the Olympic Congress in Seoul, Korea.

And now this cocksucker is going to tell me sports are meaningless and to get a life???? He's telling me my mother's 40 year career meant nothing because she chased balls instead of bad guys???? Bigdog I am small of stature but you better be glad you're across the country 'cause I'd come look you up to continue this conversation. Piss off!

when your top priority is watching sports constantly....you need to get a life...It’s a meaningless game....nothing more...doesn’t matter who wins or loses...

I certainly hope peoples priorities change when this is over.....

they are going to have to pay All first responders A lot more money Just out of respect....

Some clown chasing a ball is worth millions and people saving lives is worth thousands? only in America....

Alright ass wipe don't ever make presumptions about my priorities or my life. Any comparison of mine to yours will make you look like a mindless troll in your mommy's basement. And don't worry about what my priorities are because they are MINE! If I want to watch sports or moles dig in my yard that's what I'll do, and the fact that you feel compelled to rate anything as meaningless means absolutely nothing to me or anyone else here. Please accept my heartfelt FUCK YOU and don't ever address me again. You're dead to me.

rabtech how about limiting users to no more than 4,000 meaningless, mean-spirited threads per user per lifetime. This guy's gotta be there by now...

Time for a break until Slingshots are once again the topic of discussion. This forum has gotten too political for my tastes. I'm just a Slingshot guy. Cheers to all the rest of you - you brighten my day! Give me a shout out if you want to talk Slings.

frankly I couldn't care less if professional sports never came back - - if nothing else is learned from this the one thing that should be learned is that we are paying the wrong way too much. Instead of making multimillionaires out of people for playing games we should be giving that money the first responders across the board for what they do every single day

underpaying first responders and overpaying athletes? - - our priorities need to be rethought

Sorry Ed but demand determines supply, not the other way around. Your thought is noble but No one will buy a ticket to watch cops or ambulance drivers. However people will pay for entertainment. Are you saying that after 100 years of professional sports and 10 weeks of *fill in the blank flu" we should end professional sports? I'm sorry, get off your soap box already.

You know what's funny is that I won a $25 gift card from Slingshot Only last summer at Slingfest and I still haven't spent it. There's one carbon fiber piece for the mirror that I want and it's shown out of stock for about 9 months now. Must be supply chain problems from this virus thing...

If you are getting Social Security don't they already have all your bank info? From what I understand effective in 2013 they require all social security payments to be electronic.

To me it seems the best protection would be to set up an account at one bank that is only used to receive direct deposits - Social Security, Stimulus, Tax Refunds - - and any others, and then have a second main account preferably at a different bank that you use for everything else. Then just move the money that is deposited in the direct deposit account as soon as it comes in to the main account only leaving enough behind to keep the account open - - - this way there is virtually nothing for them to take out

Interesting theory but ALL accounts are attached to a social security number. If they find one, they find them all. Face it, if the scammers can hack your account, the US govt can.

It's too bad that pork barrel politics is the way we operate. Our politicians are basically sanctioned criminals with their hands out and their personal interests first and foremost. Those are the same criminals who would decide who has been affected the most. Do you see a problem with that? Send the money far and wide and it will end up where it goes. If you park that exorbitant sum of money in your safe, no stimulus will occur. But if you spend it on what you want or need, it moves down the line. I hope everyone spends a little at their local restaurants and retailers. Small business is the backbone of America and the least able to survive not just a slowdown, but a complete shutdown.

I'm sure there's a few of us that would be interested to hear the total, all-in cost for the quad upgrade: equipment cost+shipping+install labor+4th wheel+diamond ring or trip to Costa Rica for the wife, etc.

    Anyone want to share?

    Forgot about those!... Great idea!

Ah... But I don't have stock headlights anymore... 😔

Can they be added to the center lights? I have a 2015 with the Hella brand I think?

I don't know. I installed mine on my 2015 and they went into a hole in the side of the stock can after removing a plug I think. I still haven't reinstalled them on my 2016. Slingmods or someone else here can answer that I bet.

You can put the demon eyes (red bulbs) on the headlight switch since they can't be seen with the headlights on anyway. I like the combo of the demon eyes and halos on the outside lights.

You put in a wife module??? Is that the one that tells you where to turn and to slow your ass down?

The car shed didn't disappoint yesterday. This has been one of the most aggravating projects I have done lately. The slab poured for it was poured up against an existing slab. That slab happened to have a 4" drop from the back to the front and it was not exactly linear. I had the contractor pouring the slab to put in a "rat seal" around the edges except the side against the existing slab. The idea for matching the existing slab is so that if anything ever were to happen to the original building and new building it will be easy to build a big building covering both the new and old slab. Any way I ordered the building kit to fit a 12X24 slab not realizing that the rat seal would be coming out of that measurement. It wasn't until I put up the corner posts and attempted to install the trusses that I realized my mistake. Yep the trusses were too long. I took them back to the mfg to have them adjusted to the correct length. Two weeks later I picked them up and the next day attempted to install them again. Guess what, they still didn't fit. This time I take them to my shop and my son and I modified them ourselves and now they fit. The next Saturday we completed the framing. Friday I picked up the metal for the top and sides. Let it be noted that once the frame was complete I took careful measurements of the height at the front corners and back corners so the metal could be cut to order with the 1 in 12 angle and also considering the 4" drop from back to front in the slab. Needles to say the metal was not cut properly and every single piece on the South side had to be cut. The most aggravating part was that they did not cut the tops of the pieces on the 1 in 12 angle. Now we will have to install a trim piece to cover up the rough edges at the top of the walls. It took until dark yesterday evening but we got the top, South wall, North wall done but chose not to do the East wall due to not having the garage door(West wall). We are expecting severe weather here today and tonight. Our severe weather here usually comes from the West South West and this building is facing West. Needless to say, if it gets blown away today/tonight I will hire someone to replace it. I am about done with the car shed! And no rabtech and I didn't get to go riding yesterday:(

P.S. I never claimed to be a carpenter!!

Your description makes me feel like I did it right. I bought three 10 x 20 complete storage units with roll up doors in both ends and paid a towing company $800 ($750 + $50 driver tip) to place them in my yard. Built the ramps and was done. About $7k total for three single car garages. I can't say the wife is real happy with the architecture but I'll work on that when I get them to their final location.

Hopefully your work doesn't end up down the road somewhere Ghost . You got this!

Thanks! I always have to ask a LOT of questions when attempting to do something I have no experience in. :)

studiopeg I've spent a lot of my life doing things I have no prior knowledge or experience in (today it's installing hardie plank). There's always a way to learn and advice from others is number one on the list. What's nice about this forum is that the members will offer up any knowledge they have at any time for no other reason than to help a brother or sister out. Every time and every issue. Pretty cool!
